Album covers have become a newfound joy for me. I love that it offers a collage-like appearance but seems to have a more direct purpose. Shadows & Light album cover is designed for an alternative band looking for an album cover that showcases its unique shadows and lighting elements. Similar to their music, the art pulls together different elements and blends them together. It offers an understanding of different "worlds" - water, moon, and human hand - and demonstrates how they can be united and appreciated. I really enjoyed using different facets of photoshop tools to make the separate elements of this art piece merge together.
