My Story
Getting to know you… Getting to know all about you…
My name is Kelsey Luchterhand. I was born and raised in a small town in southeast Wisconsin. My mom always said, that as soon as I was old enough to pick up a pencil I was drawing, and that hasn’t changed.
I began understanding art from a drawing and sketching perspective, but quickly learned that through technology I could gain many advantages. I came to find that I loved the graphic design world. I love that it combines my creative side with my organization and detailed side. The graphic design field offers challenges that help me grow and develop more skills. I love the satisfaction of working through a design problem to create a successful outcome for both me and the client. I particularly love branding and marketing; I appreciate getting to know a company, their personality, needs, and desires. Once I am able to have an understanding of who they are and what they desire I am able to develop a brand that suits them in every way and reaches out to their target audience.
I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a major in Graphic Design Media and a minor in Communications. My minor in communication allows me to get to know my clients on a personal level, while my graphic design major allows me to use the techniques I’ve learn to successful execute a design that meets all their needs.
Since graduating I have worked on several side jobs to develop my craft and continue to boost my resume. I am looking to build upon this passion on a larger scale and gain more experience from a more intimate setting through one company.
I’m responsible, personable, and passionate individual seeking employment in a welcoming environment. I have a strong passion to meet the satisfaction of both employers and clients. I have the ability to work individually or in a team environment in order to successfully complete a vision or goal. I am thoughtful and hard-working with a fundamental understanding of problem-solving and project execution. I am looking for an opportunity to join a company to demonstrate my competency, creativity, and to continue to develop my communication and design skills.
Now that you know more about me, please take a look at my portfolio to see some of my designs. I’d also love it if you reached out to me so we could talk more about your needs and ways I can help you.
