Prequel Logo and Branding elements

When Covid-19 hit all businesses were affected in one way or another, the wedding industry was no exception to this. Because of this, the wedding manager was looking to generate business while following the new protocols and restrictions set in place. The wedding manager began creating packages that would work with the new rules set in place. One of the packages created was The Prequel package. This wedding package encouraged weddings that had already been booked for the year of 2020 to continue as a prequel, with their full-size wedding, The Sequel, to take place at a later date.

When designing the logo and branding elements for this package, I was looking for something to reflect the very elements this package represented. I wanted the design to be minimal, simplistic, and a fresh start to a bigger picture. The idea of a branch came to mind. It's simple, elegant, a fresh beginning, and the piece to a bigger picture. I used a sage green as the main color choice as I felt it to be a relaxed, soft green, that again, brought tones of renewal and beginning. The circle implemented in the secondary logo and the submark emphasizes unity, perfection, and wholeness. I created a few different logos for this package as well as showcasing the branch as the main branding visual element.
